(January 31, 2012, Bridgeport, CT) Rotair Industries, Inc has successfully gained certification to the revised aerospace AS9100 Rev C quality standard.

AS9100, Rev C sets the quality level expected in all areas of aerospace, from commercial to defense aviation and is developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG). The goal of IAQG is to improve product quality and on-time delivery of products and services. AS9100 Rev C extends this standard, detailing additional comprehensive criteria.

AS9100 Rev C is based on ISO 9001:2008 quality system requirements. These are supplemented by additional quality system requirements established by the aerospace industry to satisfy DoD, NASA, and FAA quality requirements. The development of the supplemental requirements took place over a number years and was the result of an international effort by aerospace companies with a common goal of establishing a single quality management system for use within the aerospace industry. AS 9100, Rev C is a product of this international effort.

Wes Harrington, President, Rotair Industries said, “Our employees worked very hard this past year for this certification, and it clearly demonstrates our commitment to the customer and the high standards of quality and workmanship our customers expect from us.”
